Complément a l'étude des Chaetognathes de la cote d'ivoire (espèces profondes)

While the surface plankton of the Atlantic coast of West Africa has already been well studied and chaetognaths have been the subject of several works, relatively little is known about the deep-sea fauna of this region. The little we know about the deep-sea fauna is scattered, with some samples taken during surface studies (Senegal and the Gulf of Guinea, Furnestin, 1956, 1959; Congo, Ducret, 1962; Angola, Furnestin 1961, 1962, Neto, 1962; South Africa, Heydorn, 1959). Results from depths below 100 m are more succinct. It was thus of interest to inventory and examine in detail the chaetognaths from the mesoplankton and the bathyplankton of these regions.
