Evaluation de la fréquentation des zones de pêche à pied sur le littoral Loire-Bretagne

In order to update the data collected in 1997 by an aerial survey, the number of shellfish harvesters has been assessed along the Loire-Bretagne coast (from Mont St Michel to La Rochelle) during the 2009 spring tides. In addition, the results obtained from the monitoring networks of shellfish quality were used to estimate the microbiological quality of the harvesting zones during the past three years and their evolution since 2000. Actually, this study focuses on the shellfish harvesting places where a real sanitary risk exists.
