In the framework of the ecological study of the halieutic resources dwelling on nuclear plant sites throughout the different stages of the implantation projects, the Ifremer Nantes conducts a study on a fraction of the zooplanktonic populations made up of species or groups of species of a relatively large size. This fraction includes, on the one hand, the eggs and/or larvae of some commercial species (mostly fishes and crustaceans) for which the identification is carried out, as much as possible, to the species and, on the other hand, some zooplanktonic groups of ecological interest for which the identification remains at genus level or at more important systematic units.
