Description
In a previous note (1) we reported the presence of the hake off the Senegal River mouth and added: "We cannot precise its southern limit yet, but it may be located around the Cape Verde and maybe more southerly." This point of view was confirmed in 1936, during the cruise of the Président-Théodore-Tissier, on the West coast of Africa, by two trawlings conducted, three weeks apart, and north of the Cape Verde peninsula.
