Observation sur la croissance de juveniles de Dicentrarchus labrax (Linné) et Dicentrarchus punctatus (Bloch) placés dans un milieu naturel et nourris artificiellement

This article deals with the first results of an experiment carried out in Brittany over four months. A thousand young fishes belonging to the genus Dicentrarchus have been distributed in pens supplied with water every twelve hours during slack water, and we monitored their behaviour in their new environment, which turned out to be very good. We also studied their adaptation to artificial food, supplied in pellets, and to which was added, at the beginning, mussel and crab juice at a concentration of 50 percent. This percentage was reduced daily, and pellets only were fed, 5 to 15 days later (depending on the batch).
