The study of the foraminifers contained in the samples collected by the "President-Theodore-Tissier" during its 1948 cruise enabled:1° to draw up the list of the genera and species dwelling in the north-eastern Atlantic Ocean;2° to notice that some of these species are widely distributed but that others are localized in these areas.
