Description
Zooplancton was sampled in 1983 in the french west coast of English Channel. This paper presents the results obtained about the larvae of the edible crab (Cancer pagurus L.). Zoeal distribution is given for the May cruise which covered all the area concerned.The other cruises covered a smaller area from march to october, according to a monthly and even fortinghtly frequency ; the latter provide us seasonal variations of zoeal and megalopa stages in the east part of western Channel and show that the May cruise took place before the peak of zoeal density.
