Description
A seasonal study shows that bath rivers Charent.e and Seudre play an important part by carrying a great quantity of fresh water phytoplankton and vegetal detritus, along with mineraI material as a result, the amount of pheopigments is very important and appears to be added with the feces of the oyster. The values of chlorophyll a and A T P are high in May and October but they appear to have no correlation. The high values of proteins mean a synthesis between living organic material and dead material which represent the whole amont of nutritive potential for oysters
