Description
The mangroves vulnerability can be evaluated using factors of exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity. Characteristics of mangroves in Los Petenes, Celestun, Cancun and Mahahual influence their vulnerability. Mangroves with good condition show low vulnerability while impacted mangroves are more vulnerable. The overall assessment shows that Mahahual has the highest vulnerability (3.0) with respect to the other sites.
