Description
This document aims at presenting the way in wich the application of the systems-oriented research to the new sector of fisheries was based on the farming systems research developed in agriculture. It also shows that the characteristics of this fields are an opportunity to realize a methodological progress for the traditional fields of rural development, since the latter is tributary of the environmental dimension.
