Description
Among the Holothurians collected in the Bay of Biscay during Biogas cruises, a new species was described and accordingly attributed to the genus Synallactes. Synallactes longipapillata n. sp. is readily distinguishable from all other known species of the genus by its very long papilla and by its spicula composed exclusively of three arms in the tegument and the papilla.
