As part of the extension of the port in Landeda, an environmental monitoring program of the Aber Wrac'h estuary was commissioned by the Spatial Planning Unit of the city of Brest (BMA), the administrative body that oversees port construction. The goal of this programme was to monitor the potential impact of the construction on the nearby marine environment.
