Description
The Cumaceans collected during the "Polymède" cruise of the R.V. "Jean Charcot" in the western Mediterranean Sea, come from 12 samplings carried out with an epibenthic drag based on the '"epibenthic sled" model by Sanders and Hessler (1967). All these samplings were carried out at depths comprised between 2 000 and 3 000 m (Chardy, Laubier, Reyss and Sibuet, 1971), based on a method developed during a previous cruise (Laubier, Martinais and Reyss, 1971).
