This volume is the fourth volume of the "Résultats des Campagnes scientifiques de S. A. S. le Prince Albert de Monaco" (Results of H.M. Prince Albert of Monaco's scientific cruises) dealing with the study of Cephalopods. It contains a number of new interesting facts on these molluscs' morphology and biology. Its publishing was delayed due to the difficult circumstances we experienced these recent years. This collection of Cephalopods, collected during the cruises of the late Prince Albert, was lent to me for study. This collection is not complete, as most of the time, species are only represented by one sample we have to preserve in order to be able to showcase it later at the museum of Monaco. However, I believe that, though imperfect, this volume will hold an honourable position alongside its predecessors.
