Description
During this cruise, it seemed interesting to study the flavoprotein in marine animals. The growth of marine animals is indeed of a great interest for all the oceanographer biologists. We recently identified the vitamin B2, an essential growth factor, with a yellow colorant with a yellow-green fluorescence, water soluble: the flavine. This lead to these two work projects: search for flavine, first in the plankton and then in the eggs and embryos of developing selacians.
