Rapport final du Comité Scientifique pour l'Environnement de l'Estuaire de La Loire

This report is divided into four parts dealing respectively with: hydraulic and sedimentary aspects, water quality and living environment, wetland management, conclusions and recommendations. Each of the first three parts includes its own conclusions, but they are repeated, integrated and developed in the last part which summarizes them briefly, and expresses recommendations that can be considered as a management guide for the estuary. The report constitutes a whole and is self-sufficient for a good understanding of the described phenomena and the issues raised. A reader in a hurry will satisfy himself with reading through the fourth part (conclusions and recommendations), keeping in mind that each proposal is dealt with in one of the three other parts.
