Description
This report represents sorne thoughts and the bibliographical review focused on an appraisal of the geochemical fate in freshwater and marin environments of principal pesticides used on French littoral. The sources and routes of entry, concentrations, distribution between non-living compartments and main degradation processes of these xenobiotic substances in the aquatic environment are presented.
