Description
The experimental hatchery of Argenton (Brittany, France), is described in details. The rearing techniques corresponding to each stage of Haliotis tuberculata are discribed: tanks without collectors, 20-day controlled production of algae, then artificial feeding until the third month and normal rearing with chopped natural red algae.
