Description
The choice of erosion, deposition and settling velocity empirical formula as well as consolidation algorithm is difficult. Through a one-dimensional and a "point" models, these formulations are studied. When tidally forced, results appear to be very sensitive to the involved coefficients. Simple models are then useful to get a comprehensive idea of the effects of the mathematical schematizationos : in a more complicated mud transport numerical model.
