Description
A new genus of Cyclopoid Copepod parasitic upon a polychaetous Annelid is erected to include a species new to science.This species has heen collected on a polychaet belonging to the family Opheliidae, in the abyssal plain of the Gulf of Biscay. The attachment device on the host set up by the mandibles is a unique feature which makes impossible the inclusion of this parasite is an existing family of Poecilostome Copepods.
