Observations ichtyologiques effectuées en 1998

The authors give some data on the Ichthyological observations during 1998. They give data on the meagre Argyrosomus regius with the first catches of mature specimens from the South Bay of Biscay during January, March, April and the detrimental important catches of juveniles. They list the records in the North of Spain of shortnose greeneye Chlorophthalmus agassizii recorded from the first time from the Bay of Biscay, of Pompano Trachinatus ovatus and of Almaco jack Seriola rivoliana recorded from the first time from the French Channel and from the North Sea.
