Description
A note published in 1958 in collaboration with J. Audouin indicated the capture of salmonids in the Bages Lagoon and in the sea in the vicinity of Sète. Morphological data gave us reason to believe that they were trout, namely Salmo trutta Linnaeus.Since then, new data has come to light, namely the capture of marked trout. Given the consequences that their interpretation holds for trout biology, we give some details on these captures in this paper.
