Description
A new ampharetid (sedentary polychaetous annelid) has been collected in the deep sea between 2100 and 4200 meters depth in the northern part of the Gulf of Biscay. It represents the type of a new genus, Noanelia gen. n., rather isolated within the family. Some generic feature s can beconsidered as primitive. [NOT CONTROLLED OCR]
