Description
Few years ago, proliferations of the green seaweed Enteromorpha have been noticed on sorne beaches of the southem coast of Martinique (American French Island). A study, in the year 1992, shows that Enteromorpha has a seasonal development, that nitrogen is the limiting factor, and that its principal feeding cornes from urban discharges thrown away directly into growing areas.
