Main basse sur l'eau ? Une analyse quantitative des inégalités d'accès à l'eau souterraine et de leur évolution dans le Moyen Atlas au Maroc

The Gini coefficient relative to the amounts of water pumped shows a high level of inequality, but it has remained relatively stable since the arrival of large-scale investor-owned farms in the 2000s, despite the major increase in areas planted with fruit trees. This analysis of inequalities in access to water could provide a basis for dialogue between local stakeholders on the criteria for equity in the allocation of water resources and on how to achieve sustainable and equitable management of water resources.
