Description
The aim of this study is to present a comparison of large oceanic fracture zones structures. The first part concerns the results of the Vemanaute dive cruise on the Vema transform fault. The site I is located on the South Wall of the fracture zone. Two sections have covered the entire height of the northern flan and allowed in situ observations and sampling of all the units that constitute the "normal" oceanic crust and upper mantle in a correct stratigraphic order.
