Description
This thesis describes the drivers for mobilising marine scientists, encouraging them to actively participate in the creation of a diamond-type journal dedicated to marine sciences. The overlay journal and Peer Community In (PCI) models were selected. The aim is to identify the main factors that encourage or discourage their involvement in the implementation of a diamond-type open access publication model. Their opinions were gathered using an online questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. This thesis continues the work carried out during my first year of my Master's degree, which focused on studying the feasibility of creating an overlay journal in marine sciences.
