Description
Elevated shelLfish cultures plants disturb hydrological conditions : bottom current is reduced by a factor of 2 betweeji the rack of oysters farm and by a factor of 3 between the pales of mussels farm. The amplitude of wave is also reduced. These modifications influence the sedimentary process : the fine particles are most easely deposited and could be localy thickened. The deposits are undisturbed by the minor waters agitation, but their particular relief modifies the flow of the shallow stream.
