Description
This study is part of the trawl selectivity program carried out on behalf of the local fisheries committee of Le Guilvinec. It aims to study the possibility of saving young scampis through the use of trawls equipped with "sorting grids". The covered area focuses on scampi and hake fisheries. The chosen period stretches from September to November 2000. Two vessels went out to sea as a first contribution to the study: the "hippocampe" and the "Gwen Vidic", both from Le Guilvinec.
