Description
Three oyster samplers, collected in 1976, 77 and 78 have beer grown, each one after 3 differents densities in order to determine the influence of the load of breeding over growth and improvement of quality of oysters. The results show that quality of oysters is rapidly altered when the density of breeding increases and that gametogenesis physiolical prevails over growth, particularly for older oyster. A variation of the date of "détroquage" (oysters off supports that collect spat) will be determined, according to spat collecting and speed of spat growth. We are here suggesting a "production"coefficient.
