The present report synthesizes the results of the works led in collaboration between the IFREMER, the Hydrographic and Oceanographic service of the French Navy (Oceanographic Mission of the Pacific) and the Departments of the Sea and Fish farming and of the Management and Town planning of the Territory of the French Polynesia. After a reminder of the problems regarding morphological and hydrographic mapping of low islands (atolls) of the Pacific in particular in French Polynesia, a paragraph draws up the assets of the aerial and spatial images as well as the computer-assisted digital mapping. A chapter of the report is then dedicated to the data, to the digital processing methodologies and to the display of the results. The following one develops the applications in particular relative to 4 types of by-products of the images and the (processing : i) the spacemap said "Pacific standard ", ii) said spacemap "maritime leases", iii) the geographical database of the information system SIGMA POE RAVA dedicated to the management of the pearl oyster culture and iiii) the production of bathymetric meshed models. A conclusion approaches the perspectives and the potential developments.
