Caractéristiques hydrodynamiques du littoral sud Bretagne

High resolution numerical mode! is used to study the hydrodynamics of the south coast of Brittany. The mode! is 2D and the mesh size small to allow a good representation of mesoscale phenomena. The main dynamic results from tide and specifically from the M2 wave. It is thus the hydrodynamics due to that wave that is studied on the south coast of Brittany where bathymetry and topography are realistic. A mean and constant coefficient is taken for the M2 wave. None exterior effects, as the wind, are considered in this study. Results give a good representation of the general hydrodynamics of the place with its mean tendency.
